New Dodge Electric Vehicles

Dodge is electrifying its lineup, marking a significant shift in the automotive landscape with the introduction of all-electric vehicles alongside traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) models. This move signals Dodge’s commitment to sustainability while maintaining the brand’s legacy of high performance and muscle.

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona models lead the charge with all-electric powertrains. The Charger Daytona Scat Pack, with its 670 horsepower, can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and complete the quarter-mile in 11.5 seconds. The Charger Daytona R/T, while less powerful, still offers a formidable 496 horsepower. These models feature innovative technologies such as the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, which replicates the iconic roar of a Dodge muscle car, and the PowerShot feature, which provides an additional 40 horsepower for short bursts of acceleration.

Complementing the Charger Daytona is the Dodge Hornet R/T Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). The Hornet R/T combines a gasoline engine with electric power, offering drivers flexibility and efficiency. The vehicle can be charged using a standard Level 1 charging cable or an optional Level 2 charger, which significantly reduces charging time. The Hornet R/T also boasts a range of performance-enhancing packages, including the Track Pack and Blacktop Package, which add features like 20-inch wheels, dual-stage valve suspension, and Brembo brakes.

In addition to these electric and hybrid models, Dodge continues to offer powerful ICE options. The Charger SIXPACK models feature the new twin-turbo 3.0L Hurricane I6 engine, delivering up to 550 horsepower in the H.O. variant and 420 horsepower in the S.O. version. These models ensure that traditionalists still have access to the raw power and performance that Dodge is known for.

Dodge’s new electric and hybrid vehicles showcase the brand’s ability to innovate while staying true to its muscle car heritage. The 2024 lineup, with its blend of electric, hybrid, and ICE options, positions Dodge as a forward-thinking leader in the automotive industry, offering cutting-edge technology without sacrificing performance
